Eurostar snow train to the French Alps

The Eurostar snow train to the ski areas of the French Alps will be running this coming season every Friday evening and Saturday morning. These are all direct trains with no need to change. They depart from London St Pancras, calling at Ashford Kent, and arriving at Moutiers, Salins and Bourg St Maurice either Saturday morning (the Friday evening departure) or Saturday evening (the Saturday morning departure). The return journey leaves Moutiers and Bourg either Saturday morning or Saturday evening.

From the arrival stations in the Alps bus and taxi transfers are available to nearby resorts such as Courchevel, La Plagne, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and others.

This is a great way to get to the slopes and the Friday night train means you can ski all day Saturday. And there are no restrictions on how much luggage you take and no surcharges! Eurostar claims the journeys are carbon neutral so you can ski with a clear conscience.
